Let’s Go! It’s Time Again For Jumbo Yellow Perch Fishing on Lake ErieWe had a great day Jumbo Yellow Perch Fishing on Lake Erie. Weather was awesome. Winds were light and variable, which is kind of rare on Lake Erie if you guys know what I mean.
When I woke up, I immediately checked the winds. I thought they might be high because the night before I checked the Buffalo Harbour Weather and it indicated 9.9 knot winds at 11 pm.  To my delight, winds at 5-6 pm started around 8 but were 4.5 knots by 6. forecast was predicting winds to decrease so WE WERE ON!
I emailed my buddy Ed and met him at Crystal Beach dock.  We saw some boats in a group around 50-55 feet of water so we though we would try there first. We got out there about 8:30 am.  We did not start marking fish until we were fishing for about 15-20 minutes.  I was just about to change spots when my buddy Ed pulled in the first monster jumbo yellow perch of the day. Needless to say, that was the start of a great day.  We stayed in that same spot all day. Here is a video and some pictures of some of the highlights of this successful day Jumbo Yellow Perch Fishing on Lake Erie.
